Automated objective outcome measures for clinical use in dysarthria

Study Description:
This study takes place anywhere in the United States as it will occur over a teleconference call. Participants will complete a series of speech tasks and record their responses on their own mobile device. This study should take around 1 hour to complete. To complete this study, you will provide speech recordings on a website using your mobile device and provide speech samples over a teleconference call that is guided by a speech language pathologist. Upon completion of the study, participants will receive a $30 digital gift card.
Aphasia Friendly Study Description:
Participants do a short set of speech tasks to help us develop software that catches neurological problems.
Inclusion / Exclusion Criteria:
You are at least 18 years old. You speak English as your primary language. You have access to 2 internet-connected devices, at least one being a mobile device so you can participate in a teleconference on one and provide speech samples on the mobile device. You have self-reported speech impairment due to dysarthria. You have one of the following conditions: Parkinson’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Huntington’s disease, ataxia, traumatic brain injury (TBI), multiple sclerosis (MS), progressive supranuclear palsy, corticobasal degeneration, stroke, multiple system atrophy, or any other motor-speech disorder.
